  Alumni Stadium, home of the Boston College Eagles There wasn't a lot of movement this week, at least in terms of movement either into or out of the poll. Four teams were winners, with Virginia Tech and Kent State winning their way out of the poll and Akron and South Alabama making significant drops toward the bottom. Meanwhile, Kentucky and North Carolina both made positive steps towards BASKETBALL season while the football squads both fell to 2-5 and joined the B25 fray. As always, enjoy the games! 1) Massachusetts (0-8) The Minute - Men took a trip to Mount Pleasant to take on Central Michigan and the results were anything but pleasant, with a 38-13 blasting at the hands of the Chippewas being the cost. Bearkats For the first time this season, the poll has a new number one team after Oregon State beat up on Lafayette of the FCS to take their first "Dub" on the season and to leave Massachusetts and Sam Houston as the only two winless schools in the highest level of college football. Normally, I would leave the two teams with the same record in the same position relative to each other if they both either win or lose. However, last weekend's loss by Sam Houston , by a bigger margin and against a weaker team means that despite having the same 0-7 record, Massachusetts will remain at number two and Sam Houston will skip past them and into the top spot vacated by Oregon State .  There shouldn't be much movement this week, barring a surprise upset win by a 25er, as there is only one Bummer Bowl ( Georgia State vs. South Alabama ) and only four 25ers on a BYE week, plus two more coming off a BYE.
