College Football Bottom 25 Poll, Week 11 2022
A lot of wins among the 25ers, a lot of losses among the DHM and a good bit of turnover in this week's poll, with 8 teams among the 25 or the DHM falling out altogether. And 5 from the DHM joining or rejoining the poll.
And, as always, the MAC with their weird Tuesday/Wednesday schedule is thrown in just for confusions sake. As for this week, as always, enjoy the games!!
1) Akron (1-9) The Zips lost a Tuesday MAC special at home to Eastern Michigan, 34-28, solidifying their hold on B25 #1 status. Next up, a return to Saturday football at Buffalo on 11/19….sort of a half BYE week, if you will.
2) Massachusetts (1-8) The Minute-men lost 27-10 at Connecticut, in what would be a Bummer Bowl in many seasons. Now they visit B25 # Arkansas State for a Bummer Bowl.
3) Colorado (1-8) The Beefalos got trampled at home by #8 Oregon, 49-10. Things remain treacherous this week with a Friday visit to LA to take on #9 USC
4) University of South Florida (1-8) The Nulls lost 54-28 at Temple and then promptly fired HC Jeff Scott. Next, the SMU Mustangs visit West (not SOUTH!) Florida.
5) Northwestern (1-8) The Mildcats always save their best for the good teams, but that doesn’t prevent their losses, this time being 21-7 to Ohio State in Evanston. Next up is a visit to Minnesota.
6) Charlotte (2-8) The 24 & 1/2ers lost 59-7 at home to the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky. Next a road tilt at Middle Tennessee State University

11) Virginia Tech (2-7) The Chokies lost 28-27 to Georgia Tech, which is their sixth straight loss (the last 2 by a total of 2 points!). Next, a visit to tobacco road to play and lose by 1 (BOLD prediction!) at Duke.
12) Nevada (2-7) The Wolf-lack had a BYE week break, giving them a 6 spot drop before hosting Boise State this weekend.
13) Arkansas State (2-7) The DedWolves also had a BYE week and get back to it this week by hosting an interconference Bummer Bowl against B25 #2 Massachusetts.
14) Western Michigan (3-7) The Cloncos lost their Bummer Bowl to Northern Illinois, 24-21. Another Wednesday til next week at Central Michigan.

17) Indiana (3-6) Six straight losses for the Lossiers aftera 45-14 home drubbing by Penn State. Again, I ask….how did this team ever beat Illinois? Next, #2 Ohio State is waiting in Columbus. Ouch!
