College Football's Bottom 25 2025, Week 10

1) Sam Houston (0-8) The Fearkats become the new number 1 after an appropriately scary Halloween bludgeoning at Louisiana Tech, 55-14. Next up is an Orange on Orange Bummer Bowl battle as the Fearkats head up to the Pacific Northwest to take on former B25 #1 Oregon State.
2) Massachusetts (0-8) The Minute - Men really needed their BYE weekend ahead of a Tuesday almost Bummer Bowl at DHMers Akron.
3) Oklahoma State (1-8) The losing streak is up to 8 for the Cowtoys after a 38-21 defeat at Kansas. Next up is a BYE weekend before the other Kansas team, Kansas State visits Stillwater.
4) Boston College (1-8) The Fleagles, like Oklahoma State, are now at 8 straight losses, after dropping the Catholic Clash against Our Lady, 25-10. Next up, 6-3 SMU, who just upset Miami, visits.
5) Middle Tennessee State (1-7) The Blue Faiders also played a Weekday CUSA game, losing 24-21 at home to Jacksonville (not the one in Florida) State, after twice being stopped in the last 4 minutes. Next up, Florida International visits on 11/8.
6) Charlotte (1-7) The 24.5ers had a much needed a BYE weekend before a date this weekend at East Carolina, in one of the Pirates rare Saturday games.
7) Nevada (1-7) The Wolfcack also had a BYE before they visit Utah State on November 8th.
8) Georgia State (1-7) The Panters say, "Let's ALL have a BYE week!". Next up is a trip to Coastal Carolina on November 8th.
9) Purdue (2-7) The losing streak is now at 7 for the Shotandabeers falling 21-16 in a close one at Michigan. The reward is a visit from national #1 Ohio State.
10) South Alabama (2-7) The Saguars followed win #2 with loss number 7, falling 31-22 at home to Louisiana in a Sun Belt Bummer Bowl. Next is a BYE before a potential Bummer Bowl at Louisiana Monroe.
11) Arkansas (2-7) The Dazerbacks had a 14 point lead with 13 minutes left in the game and were outscored 17-0 to close out a 38-35 loss to Mississippi State. Next up is a BYE before a trip to Baton Rouge to take on LSU.
12) Eastern Michigan (2-7) The Beagles are yet ANOTHER 25er with a BYE last weekend before newly minted 25ers Bowling Green pay a visit to the grey turf of Rynearson Stadium on 11/8 for a MAC Bummer Bowl.
13) Oregon State (2-7) The Beavers now lead the 🎶"just the PAC 2 of us, you and I"🎶Conference after a 10-7 home win over Washington State. Next is a good chance for win #3 as new B25 #1 Sam Houston comes to town for the Orange (Un)Bowl Bummer Bowl game.
14) Air Force (2-6) The Failcons gave Army the very rare (for them) victory in Colorado Springs, 20-17. Next is a visit to San Jose State.
15) UTEP (2-6) The Miners had a Tuesday night date at Kennesaw State and came away with a 33-20 loss. The string of weekday games ends after this, with the next game coming at home versus Jacksonville (not the Florida one) State on an actual Saturday, 11/8.
16) Tulsa (2-6) The Golden Bore-icane were on a BYEweekend. Next up is a beach vacation trip to south Florida to take on Florida Atlantic.
17) Colorado State (2-6) The Lambs were yet another 25er on a BYE. Next, the UNLV Runnin' Fieris come to town.
18) Wisconsin (2-6) The Sadgers also had a BYE week before Washington visits Madison on 11/8.
19) Northern Illinois (2-6) The Fusskies had a BYE weekend. Toledo hosts NIU on Wednesday, 11/5.
20) Bowling Green (3-6) Three straight losses took the Failcons #2 from 3-3 and into the 25 after last weekend's 28-3 home loss to Buffalo. This weekend brings a Bummer Bowl at Eastern Michigan.
21) Louisiana-Monroe (3-6) The MarHawks join after 5 straight losses following a 3-1 start, the most recent 31-6 at home to Old Dominion. Next up is a BYE week before a Sun Belt Bummer Bowl against South Alabama.
22) Michigan State (3-6) Six straight losses, the most recent a 23-20 OT defeat at Minnesota after a 3-0 start, put "Farty" in the 25. Next up is a BYE before Penn State comes to town.
23) Syracuse (3-6) The Puce also started 2025 in fine fashion, out of the gate at 3-1 before getting to the meat of the ACC schedule and losing 5 straight, the most recent loss propelling North Carolina out of the poll after they beat the Puce 27-10 at home. Next is a trip to south Florida to take on Miami.
24) Colorado (3-6) Three weeks ago, the Beefaloes were on top of the world, having just beaten nationally ranked Iowa State. Now, after two embarrassing losses at Utah and at home against Arizona by an aggregate score of 105-24, they find themselves in the B25. Next up is a date at West Virginia, whom the Beefaloes replaced in the poll.
25) tie Virginia Tech (3-6) Unlike the previous few new entries, the Pokies have gone 3-3 after an 0-3 start, but lost last week at home to Louisville, 28-16, to re-enter to poll. Next weekend is a BYE before a date at Doak Campbell with Florida State.
25) tie Stanford (3-6) The Marginal are back after a 35-20 home loss to Pittsburgh. Next up is an ACC Cross Country Almost Bummer Bowl at North Carolina.
